The Capture Shield allows correction officers to pin an unruly prisoner against a wall to safely regain control. Strong, clear Lexan material with a total shield weight of only 13 lbs for ease of handling and maneuverability. The Lamperd Capture Shield is currently in use at prison facilities of Corrections Canada.

Lamperd Less Lethal offers this Training version of our proven Capture Shield in a large, 6 foot
tall size (to our knowledge, the longest on the market). The Training Capture Shield comes with
a specially designed, 1 inch thick padded nylon cover to help protect participants in exercises
from potential injury. The nylon cover attaches with metal snap fasteners and features a viewing
window at eye level. The cover does not interfere with the shield’s padded handles.
