Lamperd Less Lethal manufactures this Compact Angled Riot Shield which measures 22 inches across. The shield is made of strong, transparent Lexan in 3mm thickness. The angled sides are designed to better protect an officer’s hand and elbow. The handles are padded for easy gripping and extra safety of the officer. The handle design also allows the shield to be flipped over for use in either right or left-handed fashion.
Another important advantage of this design is the elimination of any edge lip which might cause injury or give attackers opportunity to take the shield away from an officer. Overall, this design is superior to round riot shields of similar size.
These shields are manufactured at the Lamperd Less Lethal plant in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. All work is performed in-house, significantly reducing any issues of order fulfillment and allowing for timely delivery.
