Defensive Tactics and Tactical Handcuffing –
“A smart approach to use of force management”

ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAM

This course is designed to teach the instructor to create a customized training program for their agency to help decrease the potential liability associated with use of force cases when an officer must go hands-on with an actively aggressive offender.

The course is simplified into basic components –

  1. A legal analysis of use of force management covering current state and federal law.
  2. Simplified techniques.
  3. Hands-on scenario run practicums by the Instructor Candidates themselves and a written examination that tests the Instructor Candidates’ ability to respond to the basic needs of the programs users. The program is court defensible and is based upon the industry standard used by police agencies across the US and abroad. A certificate will be awarded upon completion and all course instructional materials will be provided in electronic digital form once registration is completed. Agency POs are accepted as payment.
